Medical Informatics in academic year 2023/2024 is taught in hybrid form. The Lectures are scheduled IN PERSON on every other Thursday 10:30 - 12:00 in EVEN tuition weeks in small lecture room of Institute of Anatomy (ANATP2, U Nemocnice 3, Praha 2).

Only the first two practical lessons are IN PERSON, and the rest of the lessons are online. For each practical lesson, you will have to submit your output of the lesson (a file or quiz) on Moodle. All practical exercises must be submitted via Moodle at least 7 days before the final test.

The attendance on seminars that are in person is mandatory. You can make up a missed class in the last lesson. The in-person practical lessons are in computer classroom of institute of biophysics and informatics (BIOFS2, ground floor to the right, U Nemocnice 5, Praha 2).

Here is a link to the Moodle course. You will use it for submitting tasks. You will get the key in the first lesson.

Classified credit test

To evaluate student's performance and to earn a classified credit, all continuously submitted practical exercises and the final examination are considered. Students have to submit all practical exercises via Moodle at least 7 days before final test.

Since this is a classified credit, not the exam, you don't need the credit before the test. You will receive both the credit and final mark at once. Students have to register for an test date in SIS, terms will be available during the semester.

The classified credit consists of a mandatory written test. A grade will be proposed to the student based on this test. If a student disagrees with the grade, an examiner may ask the student a supplementary question (from the practical or theoretical field). Based on the student's answer, the examiner will give the student a final mark.
